Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2, 2026
These terms cover what you can do on Solos Music, what we promise to do for you, and the few things that are off-limits. Plain English, no surprise clauses.
Who we are
Solos Music (“Solos Music”, “we”, “us”) operates an AI music studio available at musicly.app and any related subdomains (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Your account
You need an account to generate music. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure - we never ask for your password by email or chat. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Solos Music. If you're using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Credits, plans, and payments
Solos Music runs on a credit system. Each generation (creating a song, separating stems, exporting WAV/MIDI, etc.) costs a fixed number of credits, listed in-app at the moment you start the action.
- Free tier - 15 credits on signup, plus a recurring monthly bonus. Personal use only.
- Pro and Premier subscriptions- billed monthly or yearly via Stripe. Cancel anytime; benefits continue through the end of the period you've already paid for.
- One-time credit packs - never expire once added to your balance. No recurring charge.
Subscription credits roll over month to month while your subscription is active. Leftover paid credits stay on your balance for 60 days after a cancellation so you can finish what you started. After that window they expire.
Your content and rights
You keep ownership of the prompts and lyrics you write. For songs you generate:
- On Pro and Premierplans, you receive full commercial rights to use, distribute, monetize, and license the resulting audio. The transfer is automatic and doesn't require additional registration.
- On the Free tier, generated audio is for personal, non-commercial use only.
- We don't claim ownership of your generations. We do keep a copy on our servers so the song remains accessible in your library.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Solos Music to generate or distribute content that:
- Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or publicity rights - including impersonating a named recording artist's voice without their consent.
- Sexually exploits minors or depicts non-consensual acts.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or unlawful harm to a specific person or group.
- Attempts to extract our model weights, scrape generations at scale outside the rate limits, or evade payment.
- Resells or sublicenses raw access to the Service as a standalone offering (you can build products on top of your generations - that's the point).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. We'll do our best to give you a heads-up first, unless the violation is severe.
Failed generations and refunds
If a generation fails on the upstream provider, your credits are refunded automatically - usually within seconds. You only pay for successful generations. Voluntary subscription cancellations and one-time credit-pack purchases are governed by the Refund Policy.
Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may pause the Service for maintenance, security, or to mitigate provider outages. Where downtime affects an in-flight generation, credits are refunded automatically.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solos Music isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations - in that case, ours apply only to the extent permitted.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
